Yup. Mandela was a great man. Interestingly, I have the same political outlook as Mandela and Ghandi. Non-competitive. peaceful, fair, and for the people. Rare, these days.

Americans are an extremely aggressive people. At least, a good proportion of them are. They are reared from birth to take what they want, to push for it, and to feel justified in it.

I recall, shortly after arriving in the States, I did some ghostwriting for a client. Her son once kept me awake to all hours of the morning, an ardent GDP fan. The comment that shocked me the most that he saw no problem with invading any country to get their oil.

There are alpha female sham leaders as well - the one's that want to close the pay gap. By that, they don't mean the basic wage. They mean that they're earning $20 million per year when males are earning $22 million per year.

I don't think Putin's push into Ukraine had anything to do with American aggression. That's just an excuse - the pretense of a reason. He simply wants to bring back the USSR.

Unfortunately, I see similarities between South Africa and Russia. When the previous leadership destroyed all previous leadership, when the regime fell, there was nobody educated enough, decent enough, etc. to take over.

When Mandela retired, that was it. Russia has a lot of problems, as does America. In both these countries, and in many others, the dysfunction in the country has more to do with the culture of the people than the actions of other countries.
