Yup. Just left South Africa after 5 years. In January this year, I decided pandemic or not, I had to get the hell out of there. We also had the world's first water shortage in a major city. Interesting times.

Most of the shops did very little business, and so many were closing. This was before the pandemic. I got caught at the start of the pandemic while I was in London, and I had already packed up and sold up so I had nowhere to go. It was also an interesting experience.

Anyway, thankfully, I have dual nationality and could get pst the 'no people from South Africa' veto.
