Yup. I had a boyfriend about 25 years ago that told me I was just making excuses saying I didn’t have capital to start a business. He kept telling me about all these women he knew that started very successful businesses fomr ‘nothing. I told him that if he actually went into the details, he would find that ‘nothing’ was actually quite a lot of money they got from somewhere.

A while later, he told me I was right. The one had a one million divorce settlement. The other had her parents invest half a million. And the third had inherited three million from her grandparents.

Um. Yes.

The problem is that what some people consider ‘nothing,’ isn’t the same thing that other people consider nothing.
