Yup. I am pretty sure that NATO has looked at all of this, and they would want to prevent a full scale nuclear war. They would have looked at all scenarios by now and had a plan to follow for every eventuality.

Essentially, at this point, precisely because Putin won't back down, the only option is to kill Putin and those who would follow through with his craziness.
