Yup. After I had written it, I wondered if I explained it well enough - that when we do things that we believe to be important, that's when we find meaning in our lives.

Something as simple as cooking food for orphaned children in an orphanage would give a cook meaning if she understood that she was contributing to the health of the children. We need to look at the reasons for our actions to see where they will lead, and if what we do leads to good things, then we have meaning.

Or something like that!
