Your article was very well written, and it was designed to appeal to people emotionally. I NEVER let anything appeal to me emotionally, because that is manipulation.

I respond to things based on evidence and on ethics. Your post was essentially saying 'Just because I've decided to do this one unethical thing, does that make me stupid?" or "Just because I do this one unethical thing, does this mean that I don't have a feeling of love towards humanity?' or "Just because I do this one unethical thing, does it mean that I am stupid?"

And so on, and so forth.

Ethics are rules that are based on the greater good of the group - not on the greater good of the individual That's because the greater good of the individual can harm the greater good of the group, and it is the group that needs to survive - not the individual. Individuals can die without making the species extinct. Howver, if the entire species dies (in order to protect the rights of hte individual) then the species becomes extinct.

While your heart may not be full of gner, jealousy, hatred or every other vile emotion, that does not mean that the hearts of other people are not. It also does not mean that because your post is written the way it is that it reflects a truthful position.

You asked a question - I answeresd it. Your question only demanded a yes or no answer. I gave it to you. I explained it. You felt 'unheard.' And dismissed.

It is irrelevant what you felt. I answered you. I cannot be responsible for your feelings. At least I feel responsible for the possibility that I might infect other people if I got Covid, and I take every precaution not to get int, including getting vaccinated. I was scared of taking the vaccination because I don't have a good immune system, but I took it anyway. I am conceredn about the greater good - not my own personal good.
