You really write nonsense. Poland, in the old USSR, was Totalitarian. Socialism doesn’t tell people what to do. Australia, New Zealand, western Europe, Canada, the UK, etc all have socialist policies. Socialism is when the government owns either all or some of the industry and resources.
When I grew up (in the British Empire), government owned a lot — British Steel, South African Railways, phones, electricity, etc were all govetnment run. In Europe, rail is still govetnment run. So is the post office. This is socialism.
When government tells people what to do, that is fascism and totalitarianism. You need to get your terms right. Most Americans, especially the right, have bern brainwashed since the cold war. It always baffled me that they were told to sit under tables in case of nuclear attack. ☺
