You overestimate my readership. At this point, only 218 people have read my story, most of them long-time readers of mine who know me sufficiently well to know that I'm just pointing out something intellectual.

However, it is your fear that my article will somehow drive thousands or millions of people into Trump's camp. This is quite a common response from some Americans. For some reason, they don't think that people can think for themselves.

My readership tends to be highly educated and have a high level of intelligence - otherwise they wouldn't read me. I'm not the Kim Kardashian type, and I respect that my readers have the ability to think for themselves. Nothing in the 25 years that I have been writing on the web has indicated otherwise.
