You obviously know nothing about writing. I've won prizes have had some articles read millions of times, and when I was on Google Plus, three or four times a week, my posts would be read by up to 1.5 million times a week.

If you're talking about the kind of people who write because they want attention, and they can't write to save their lives, well, yes. But those aren't exactly writers, are they?
