You might want to read this:

A friend just emailed me about this, and that is why I'm looking at it.

It explains why Medium didn't mail me back two weeks ago if I asked them what would happen if I removed all my stories from behind the paywall. I'm earning nothing.

More importantly, I noted that they removed the information about the number of Google reads, and those were the stories I wanted to remove from behind the Medium paywall.

I would rather direct my Medium readers to another platform where I am writing.

From my own perspective, I don't want to write on a platform where the goal posts keep changing. I write strictly for money - no other reason. I am not interested in applause, and I certainly am not interested in making friends of people on Medium.

That's not because there's anything wrong with Medium people - I invited a lot of my previous colleagues to write here. It's because I'm old, have limited time, and I prefer to do other things. I can't get excited about writing on a website.
