You know what? I spent about two years telling people what Brexit was going to do. I was ripped to pieces.

I spent 25 years telling South Africans what apartheid was going to do. Nobody paid any attention.

It's not a matter of hoping that everyone will suffer more so that they can learn a lesson. It's just that I don't care anymore. There is a limit to how much patience I have. People must make their own decisions. There's cause and effect, and there always will be.
