You know something? I never did a day's work to be published at the age of 10. My late brother didn't do a day's work to be invited to sing as young as 7 years old.

I'm not sure what it is that makes so many Americans deny the obvious. You're born with talent, and if you have talent, certainly, you have to develop it, but if you don't have talent, you can work as hard as you like, but you don't stand a rat's chance in the face of all the competition that currently exists.
