You have 29 followers. I have been earning my living on the web as a writer since 1999. I think I know what works, and I have not dumbed anything down. I have simply not written reams that I know nobody will read.

I am a critical thinker, and if you read my 'about' section, you seem to be out of step with educated opinion of my writing.

Clearly you didn't live in those places long enough for you to realize the differences in knowledge level between Americans and the rest of the world.

I am a dual South African/German citizen, have lived in two countries in Africa, visited many more, lived in 5 countries in the EU, first registered to live in the UK in 1975, and spent 11 years in the US.

I'm not dumbing anything down. I'm dishing out the broad outlines, and none of it is inaccurate.

I tell you what. You write what you like on your page, and I'm sure you'll shortly have gazillions of readers.
