You get the same contradictions in the bible and in the Torah. This is because all of these books are written by man and have nothing to do with a non existent god.

In the Jewish tradition, Mohammed went to the Jews and said “There is so much money to be made from religion. Let’s start a new one.”The Jews declined.

Regardless of your interpretation, and it is an interpretation, the Taliban have a completely different interpretation. This happens with all religions. They are interpreted to be compatible with the prevailing culture.

I spent decades studying this stuff — every single day, 7 days a week, with no time for anything else.

By the time I finally and formally became an atheist, I was and remain fully convinced that all religions are nothing more than mankind’s imagination.
