You do realize that when you write something like that at the end of your story, you completely remove the feeling that the end of your story bought.

How is it that people like me have been writing and published for 60 years and none of us have ever said 'thank you for reading.' In fact, Medium is the only site where people do this. And they're all newbie writers.
