You clearly have never done a science degree otherwise you would know that 'estimations' and people answering survey questions are NOT acceptable figures which is why the CDC HAS NEVER PUBLISHED THOSE FIGURES.
They are simply opinion - not hard facts, and, of course, people who own guns are going to think something was a defensive action when it was not.
There are NO headlines of people with guns saving other people. When that happens in the same abundance that kids getting shot at - then we have something to talk about.
You are comparing 'estimates' based on sefl-reporting with hard gun fatlities facts. That's not comparing apples with apples.
