You appear not to know the difference between a journalist and a reporter. A reporter is most definitely a journalist. A journalist, however, can be an editor, a columnist, a reporter, or any other job in the news making business. A reporter is the guy on the front lines who collects the news and then writes it. In other words, while a reporter is always a journalist, a journalist is not necessarily a reporter.
