Yes, well, the boomers started that. Up until the end of the 60s, we were all taught to respect our elders, and we did. Then this idea came up that we don't have to respect our elders, and that they have to earn our respect. I wondered at the time what they would do when they grew old. Now they know. :)

One does become invisible, though. I am so thankful for that.
