Yes, well, it was an expression of who I was. I love beauty and elegance and lovely clothing. However, the number of men who would tell me I'm sexy and make sexual remarks, etc. just finally reached a point where I would rather be ugly and non approachable than feel dirty. They made me feel dirty.

There was never ever any intention o f my part to look sexy. In the culture that I grew up in, that was not something that a decent young woman aspired to.
