Yes, there is.

However, people who are conquered are so tired of it all that they don't have the energy to hate. It's an American leftist idea that all the people left behind are going to hate. That has not happened in other wars for 3000 years - why should it happen to Gaza. People who are defeated are too busy picking up the pieces to be focused on building another army.

The plan was (not sure what it is now) to get the various tribes/families take the lead, instead of Hamas. I don't know enough about it, but I'm pretty sure that Israelis are not that stupid that they haven't taken this into consideration.
