“Yes, that is correct. It also runs true in many of the different animal species. That said, religion totally warped the relationship between men and women. I also think that things as serious as DNA began to develop in a negative way.

For instance, all the religions started culling women if they had an extra strong sex drive that resulted in them committing adultery, etc. Those women never bore children, and therefore the women who did reproduce had a lower sex drive. That was simply adaption — safer.

Men also begin to dominate women with their superior strength because they were now in competition for women. Whereas before, in tribes, in nomadic tribes (with no Abrahamic religion), men and women could sleep with whom they liked — the tribe brought up the children (you can see this in Africa), when women were given to men in marriage, there was a shortage of women for men who didn’t have wives (especially if some men just ‘married’ 20 or 40 women. So men began to mistreat women and remove their political power to control them.

Women have gotten back much of their political power. The fight they now fight is one they cannot win. Men and women are biological creations of nature. Women will always need to have a provider for her children, and men are physically stronger in order to protect her.
