Yes, precisely because I am a highly intelligent, well-read lady, I asked you those two questions. You didn't answer them.

Just a note - I was thinking of climate change, of the way that China and India produced all the products for America. So they are just as much at fault in bringing our world to this point.

You also omitted to say that:

1. I'm not American, despite living there for 11 years.

2. I am a dual SouthAfrican/German citizen.

3. I have been fighting for social justice since I was 18 years old, and joined my first progressive party in 1966.

4. I have lived in several countries in Africa, Europe, the UK (England and Scotland), and, of course, America.

Those points are relevant. You are speaking as someone who has learnt the American narative. You forget that China is incredibly racist, and in India, the whiter your skin, the higher your caste. If you have a very black skin, you're at the bottom of the food chain. Have you ever lived in Africa? There's just as much racism there - only the other way round.

That said, why don't we argue about why the Romans invaded Jerusalem, or why the Moors invaded Europe, Or why there have been so many genocides in Africa which has absolutely nothing to do with white people? In Africa, people are born into tribes, and those tribes are quite happy to kill each other. There are some pretty gruesome practices in Africa.

Then, again, I find the South African constitution quite civilized. Pity about the white racism - it's horrific. That said, South Africa is one of the few nations that allows polygamy - you can have as many wives as you want. Abortion is easy. You can even buy a man's penis to help with your own virility. of course, the shamans have to kill someone in order to get the penis, but that's another story. And then there's the fact that South Africa has the highest rape numbers in the world. These are black men raping babies in order to cure themselves of HIV and AIDS.

Can you please tell me why you avoid speaking of these things. I find your story facist in the extreme, and in view of our species being extinct within 80 years, I wouldn't be bothered about colonial history at this point.

That said, realizing that despite my writing about racism, classism, climate change, and pandemics for more years than I can remember, and nobody doing a single thing about it, I've just found myself a country whee I can (possibly) be safe. Climate and extreme weather events are going to take many, many lives. Millions, if not billions, are going to die in the next 25 years.

I have only twice in my very long life heard claims of biological supremacy. I laughed at them. Stupid gits. Beyond ignorant. However, again. I'm concerned about climate change and approaching pandemics.

Our lives are on the line.
