I am puzzled why you and others would mention it. Wouldn't it make better sense to explain why you think that there is no such thing as problem solving intelligence or why someone who is excellent at weilding a cricket bat is excellent at figuring out how to solve climate change?
When one talks about IQ, one is not talking about one's ability to play a sport, sing a song, handle people, or anything thst is generally considered a talent. It is why we have different words for these things.
For example, when we say that Einstein was a very intelligent man, we are not speaking about his ability to perform multiple backflips.
The vast majority of scholars in the field reject Gardner's 'theory.' So did I when I read it all those decades ago.
