Yes, I did have a head start - DNA. I was born with the raw talent. That is the only 'head-start' I had.

Other than that, I grew up in a country without television, in a police state, in a situation of extreme abuse.

I don't know where you got the idea that I had connections. Where do 10 year old kids who are autistic with an auditory processing disorder and living in an environment of extreme abuse get 'contacts?

I have never had a dedicated base in my life. I have been completely and utterly on my own for my entire life time. I have never been taught anything. I figured it out on my own.

I have no idea what 'circles' you are talking about. Yes, I have, over the years, made friends through my writing. It was the power of my writing that brought them to me - not the other way round.

To this day, I have never had anyone tell me how to write a novel. I have never had one bit of advice on how to earn money as a writer. Until my mid-50s, I never even had a degree.

I was living in a country that had no contact with the outside world, a police state, no television., everything banned, etc.

Please do tell me where you get all your ideas of contacts from. I am not American. I am a refugee without refugee status. I am disabled. What I have that you and others don't have is raw talent,

I started writing on Medium in 2020 or 2019 while in South Africa. For the first year, I averaged between $5 and $60 per month. Then a year later, I relocated to Germany (my sister paid my fare). In two weeks, my traffic shot up, and in those same two weeks, I won $500 from Medium for being one of the top 1000 writers on Medium.

I won that prize for the next three months.

That is what raw talent does. No contacts. No help. No nothing.

I expect an apology.
