Yes, but you are not feeling the feelings of your child. People who claim to be empaths, and there are a lot of them around, are claiming that they physically feel the pain of others. No, they don't. They imagine what the pain of others feels like.

And my point has nothing to do with whether people can feel for other people or not. It's on the nonsense that morality is determined by empathy.
