Yes. A lot of what he says is not well thought out Batteries, for instance, need rare earths, and the degree of destruction that is wrought by mining them is horrific. They are causing immense damage to the eco-system and the land from which they are minded. They also only have a shelf life of about 15 years. Then the problem becomes where to dispose of them - they are also toxic to the environment. Also the sheer mass of how many we would need makes it twice as dangerous as nuclear energy.

I don't have the time to to explain why so much of what he says are very short range solutions. Also, nobody seems to consider that 8.3 billion people are breathing out carbon dioxide...
