The only 'immigrants' coming to America are people from the third world who your GOP don't want. People don't immigrate to America from the 1st world, i.e. Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, etc.

You have a shitty quality of life. It says everything that you missed the point that the difference between home ownership between Portugal and America, is that Americans bought homes in order to build wealth while the Portuguese built them to have homes.

As most of my 11 years were spent in the south (Texas and California), I can assure you that people saw buying homes as a financial investment as well.
