Would I be correct in translating your interpretation of mass media as the American TV crowd?

While I've lived in the States, I haven't watched TV for decades, and my media is definitely mass -

The Guardian (British)

Al-Jazeera (Middle East)

South China Morning Post (Hong Kong)

Der Spiegel (Germany)

France Today (French)

Russia Today (Russia).

And so on.

I read widely. Some of it on the right, some of it on the left, and some of it without slant. It's almost impossible to get a feel for things if one only reads one source.
