Why would you be wishy washiy in telling people that they don't have what it takes to achieve something?

The idea that someone can be an opera singer when they weren't born with the voice is delusional. Why would a singing teacher be incorrect in telling someone they don't have what it takes. This is recognized. It's why art schools have auditions.

For the record, I have a lot of close friends, made through the years on the internet. I've met some of them. I still do. When I'm in town, wee meet up.

If you mean that they don't have crowds of syncophants, I agree.
