Why would you assume that?

You see, that is a major difference between you and I. If people don't like me or judge me wrongly, I don't feel inclined to blame them for their opinion of me. It's okay. I basically don't care, and I don't thinkw hat they think of me is that important. I also know that they have wrong information. I forgive them. I let them go. I most certainly don't think they are irredeemable misanthropes.

That's your judgement, Anthony, and that is where the real issue is.

I think you misunderstand what people like Umair Haque or Jessica Wildfire are trying to do. They are sounding warnings, and they're saying this is what is going to happen if you don't change your ways.

I, personally, could not be bothered. I don't think the world has a chance in hell. Milllions of people are going to die unnecessary deaths over the next ten years though

1. Increased number of pandemic deaths (not only Covid)

2. Climate disasters

3. Wars as countries begin to look for resources.

This is not a lack of belief in individuals. It is a lack of belief in humanity - in the herd, in the species. I think there's more than enough evidence to confirm that people are stupid. Einstein said so. I believe him.
