Why Wisdom Is Now Your Best Choice
With the world on the edge of WWIII, you might want to reconsider your priorities.
For more than 15 years, I wrote about the threat of climate change. Then, four years ago — January 2021, to be precise — I stopped. I realized that we were past the point of no return, and there was no point in continuting. There are none so blind as those who will not see.
For a while now, my concern has been WWIII, particularly as there seems to have been a concerted effort by some to trivialize the effects of a nuclear winter, and what that means for humanity. With that in mind, I have some things to say.
Wisdom as we face WWIII
I am so sick and tired of the civil rights bs. Excuse me while I fight over you using my toothpaste while the house is burning down. If people can’t get over their ridiculous egos and hurt feelings, their lack of status, and their entitled or victim mentality, there is no movement forward.
Wisdom is the ability to extrapolate future outcomes from current data. It requires an accurate assessment of where one is, and then determining which actions (and words) will take one to a safe place. Wise leaders have long been gone from the west, and we are now in a place where our lives might be forfeit for that.
