Why I Think Charles Will Make a Good King…
I met him once, and I thought he was a charismatic person.
Charles waited a long time for the crown.
As I sit here watching that golden coach, with Charles and Camilla inside, I think of another time I watched those coaches. I can’t remember what the occasion was — the jubilee? Splendor is a word that comes to mind, and there are very few nations in this world that can do it than the Brits. Then, again, I cannot think of any other nation that can manage the pomp that the British can.
Charles is savvy, and he has foresight
Charles has been laughed at often. He has been ridiculed, and there are those who think he is a wimp. Me? I think the man has a brain. He has withstood criticism for his views and carried on anyway. That said, I don’t suppose there was much that could be done about what he said.
Imagine, if the queen said, “No, you aren’t suitable,” Andrew would have been next in line. I don’t think so. I also have to say that I don’t like William much.
