When people go to movies, they want to be entertained, not be presented with the woes of life. It's only a very small priviledged set of people who have never experienced hardship - mostly in America. Never been interested in Spielberg's movies since he did an MFA or something. No interest in watching the movies you wrote about. I have lived through hell. I don't needto relive it on the big screen.
