When I was 25, I became a Christian. The next 10 years, regardless of denomination destroyed my life. At the end of those 10 years, I had PTSD.
Today, I am an atheist. I get flack from Christians all the time. One guy I met in San Diego, when I told him I was an atheist, said to me, "But you can't be - you're a good person."
Of all the religious groups in America, the one group that is hated above all, is the atheist group. So, I'm going to take issue with you that you don't see this in other groups.
