What's the problem. I can assure you that most people cannot say 'Schlesinger.' I understand that. I just say "Tessa S. C. H. L.... and I spell it for them. Then I pronounce it for them in German and in English, and then I say, 'Please call me Tessa.' I'm 70 this year. It doesnt worry me at all that people mispronounce my name or forget my name or whatever. Then, again, I suspect that I don't particularly have an ego.
