What nobody is discussing is the amount of computer and electrical energy that it takes to do one blockchain action.
I've read that several ciities can be lit for a year just with the amount of energy used in a few weeks.
Or to put it another way - one blockchain transactin uses enough electricity to power nearly 7 American households for one day.
How the hell is cryptourrency a solution to anything? It is madness to even conteplate it is blockchain is the foundation on which it is built.
Why is no one speaking about this?
It needs to be stopped immediatley . Our planet is dying from energy abuse.
