What has the fact that people are culturally diverse and 'geographically distributed' culture got to do with UBI not working. I have read the research for years.

One fascinating study was in Africa where people were paid a living amount, and they could spend it anyway they liked. 98% spent the money on investing in buying their own home, educating their children, or setting up a business. 2% went partying for a year, then changed direction and started behaving in the same way - finding a business idea, getting educated, etc.

The biggest source of creativity is free time and sufficient resources.

If you think that there is something wrong with people who don't want to be productive or who don't want to work, then there is nothing more I can say. I have studied enough psychology, physiology, neurology, history, economics, politics, etc, and I have lived in multipled cultures on three continents, and people are physiologically, intellectually, and emotionally different. Who are you to judge?

If someone can't work, so what. If they don't want to work, so what. There is enough for everybody. We have machines to produce.
