What do you think will happen when people have sufficient money to live without having to work for other people?

The purpose is to avoid starvation of the masses and to prevent extreme violence. So what you are saying is that even if you pay everybody money, they are still going to starve, and they are still going to kill each other.

Our high tech society is over. We have a few decades at the most. Once the electricity grid is down, there is no civilization.
