Well, you've confirmed one thing to me. The first $500 was given for a totally different reason to the nexxt three. I think the first $500 was given to people based on the kind of writing that Medium wants to see, and after that, it was just the top 1000 earnings. And that, in itself, is frightening. It means thata people earning sums like $98 are already int he top 1000, and that means that there is a handful earning in the thousands. If I'm right, of course. I may be wrong.
