Well, right now, evangelical Christians believe that Jesus is going to rapture them, and there is no need to do anything about climate change. Then there are those who believe that one can lie, steal and murder if the name of Jesus Christi because God appointed leaders, and thse things are necessary in Leadership. That is called Dominionism.

Then there's the law of attraction which people believe. They believe that if they wish and think something, then it will happen. Only it doesn't, and eventually they become depressed.

You know wwhat is wrong with all these beliefs? They are not harmless. They destroy people. Ever read a book by Barbara Ehrenreich called "Bright-sided?"

It's about the harm that positive thinking has done to America. She believes (and shows evidence) that it has destroyed the economic system of America.

I most definitely have an issue with prayer and the law of attraction and other claptrap that people teach. it caught me up in it, and it mislead me for years. It did me a lot of harm. Same thing has happened to other people.

It is immoral and unethical to allow people to be indoctrinated with religion and other stuff. It is, I would say, a crime against humanity.
