Do you actually know what a debate is? It is when two or four speakers on a platform are given a specific topic. Two will point out points for it. Two will point out points against it.

Arguing with someone is not a debate. Discussing something is closer to what Americans mean by ‘debate.’

I generally expect people to have a certain level of intelligence and knowledgeif I am to discuss something with them. Republicans don’t.
