Well, I've definitely made friends in the last five years. I have, however, not made friends for the past two years - due sttrictly to Covid. I have also been in six different cities in four different countries (on two continents and one island) during this time. So, in some of them, there has been a language barrier.

However, I'm moving to Ireland shortly, so there will be English speaking people, and provided there are people my own age (70), I'm ore than happy to make friends. I'm looking forward to it.
