Well, it might be a good idea for you to research it. Essentially, the religious right is causing havoc in the Knesset. They are powerful enough to affect policy and without their vote, the PM cannot actually form a government. The religious fanatics want the entire Israel because they believe God gave it to them, and so they have no problem fighting Palestinians, because, after all, God told them to fight for Israel in the bible.
