Well, I'm 70 years old, and during that time, I have spent a considerable amount of time listening to these people. In fact, specifically - many, many decades.

I've also read some 600 self-help, pscychology, and neurology books - all in the hope of trying to understand how people arrive at the conclusions they do.

Do you deny that people get socialized? Socialization is just another word for brainwashing. When you teach a child at a young age that there is a god, and when the society around him believes that there is a god, the child has an 80% chance (or whatever percentage) of retaining that for life. In fact, even the bible (Proverbs) recognises this. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and he will return to it."

Actually, it takes a lot less than 62,400 repetitions 'to make a truth.' Ask coco cola, and all the cigarette advertisers from the 20s through the 70s/80.
