Well, I think sex is a fairly strong driver towards population increase. :)
Also, without colonialism, those people who were in the stone age would never have acquired skills modern skills like medicine, computerisation, transport, etc. They would still be hunter gatherers. Colonialism wasn't all bad.
In fact, it's bs that the current problems of Africans are the result of colonialism. There are too many other nations and people who pulled themselves out of difficult situations and flourished.
The Jews, after 2000 years of genocide, murders, thefts, etc took one generation to recover from the Holocaust - after half of their people were killed off.
Estonia had a 10000% inflation rate when the USSR split. It had no phones, no infrastructure, and was in dire poverty. In 20 years, it had joined the first world - highly successful.
Japan was stuck in Victorian times after WWII. In one generation, it became a leading economic super power.
It has been 70 years in Africa since the first countries were given independence. They are still nowhere. Perhaps you need to figure out why other people's are able to overcome obstacles, but Africans can't.
