Well, I have to confess that I know none of this. I feel bad about asking people to sign up for a mailing list. I never subscribe to anything because I receive too much email and I don't want anymore, so I hardly feel that I can expect anyone to receive any email from me.

That said, I accidentally got one because so many people asked me to put them on my subscriber's list. I still have the list. I have never used it.

I've also never promoted my books. I sell maybe 20 a month. They do have good reviews, though.
