Well, I can't give up those things because they have never been part of my life. I am, however, giving up central heating (to save energy) and am using hot water bottles instead. I'm probably going to use some sort of insulation on my window. When I used to live in London, there used to be something you could stick on your windows that made the cold less likely to seep through.
