Well, god bless your cotton socks. I am a refugee without refugee status, have a social security of $224 per month, am 72 years old, have lived a lifetime of financial insecurity with no help from the state because I don't qualify, and I'm sick and tired of people who assume I'm sitting in the pound seats and must be judging from a lofty heights. I live from day to day wondering if my daughter and I (who is also disabled as I am) will be able to pay the rent in a month. So I would appreciate it if you didn't lecture me about hardship.
