Well, eventually, you just do what I am doing. You leave Medium. I've written my last article here. When my subscription expires, I won't be renewing it.

Unfortunately, I don't find anything of worth to read in the magazines run by Medium. I suspect that they hire experts in particular fields, ask them to write an article, and post it. The problem is that they are so badly written that I cannot stomach reading them. There's a reason that Ev Williams closed the magazines.

As for the rest of what you say, this is now a writers' platform. Clap. Clap. Applause. Applause.
