Until the mid-70s, we all lived under 'democratic socialism.' I don't know where Bernie Sanders got that word, but he was talking about a mixed economy. Countries in Europe still have mixed economies - welfare societies. All the English countries switched to neoliberalism.

I supported Bernie Sanders, by the way, until recently.
